Cultural Events in Gauteng

South Africa is brimming with an array of different cultures and cultural elements. Gauteng is the smallest province, but is the home of the capital city and is the wealthiest of all the provinces. This area is a melting pot of languages, colours, customs and cultures, representing the diversity of South Africa. For these reasons, Gauteng is the ideal location in which to enjoy a number of cultural events.

The Soweto Festival Expo
This expo is aimed at uplifting the community and ensuring that its spending power is injected back into the people and businesses of Soweto. It combines business, culture and entertainment to create a fun, lively event for all to enjoy. This festival is set apart by the fact that both small and large entities are encouraged to participate, allowing a unique platform on which to network, shop and interact.

Events, workshops and exhibitions will cover food, health, beauty, arts, crafts and all things business-related to ensure that the Soweto Festival Expo is as diverse and colourful as the people of Gauteng and South Africa.

This expo is held in the Expo Centre, Nasrec. For more information, call +27 (0)11 646 5630.
