Mpumalanga is known as Paradise Country for its exquisite landscapes, lush vegetation and gorgeous wildlife. As a result, it is one of South Africa’s favourite tourist destinations, welcoming visitors from all over the country and the world to enjoy its beauty and abundance. As a result of this, Mpumalanga is the perfect destination for food and wine festivals, showcasing its creative edge and its natural splendour.

This is a great outing for the entire family to enjoy. Attractions and activities at the event include a beer tent, live bands, talent competitions, food stalls, potjie competitions, an incredible air show and clay pigeon shooting. Bring the family along and enjoy plenty of entertainment, including live performances, stalls, a beer tent, and even a funfair for the young (and young at heart). This event is usually held on the Komatipoort Sports Grounds, which are large enough to accommodate the abundance of things to do and see as well as the many visitors that they entice.
Culinary festivals allow visitors to get a literal taste of the towns and cities in which they are held, as well to sample the culture and recreation that make South African destinations so very special.
