Overview

The Bartenders Workshop is a South African initiative that has, in its more than 10 years in the industry, trained thousands of bartending staff to provide professional service and impressive entertainment at functions of up to 10 000 people. The bartender is expected to complete extensive training and exams (both practical and theoretical) before qualifying. These vibrant staff members add fun, style and a unique engaging quality to your event.

The training that these staff members undergo includes:

• Customer relations
• Bartending terminology
• Stock control and float
• The cocktail components and mechanics
• Specific modules on creating most of the best known cocktails
• Closing duties
• Cash-up
• The Bartender Dictionary
• Flairing
• Mixology

Once qualified and experienced, the bartender will be added to our vast portfolio of professionals, which is available to event coordinators to choose as many staff members as they require for their function. The bartenders can either work from an established bar or from one of our trendy mobile bars. All of our bartenders are trained to manage a cash bar service.
