The theatre complex is South Africa's foremost receiving house of live entertainment, presenting the very best of world-class theatre, sourced both locally and overseas.

Joburg Theatre prides itself in creating an all-round entertainment experience for you. It is for this reason that Headline Leisure Management (HLM) has its own management and hospitality team resident at Joburg Theatre. The venue boasts eight hospitality suites for your functions with sumptuous décor and sweeping views of the Joburg City skyline. These rooms are also available for hire during the daytime, to use for company workshops, board meetings, private lunches, seminars, award presentations, and media conferences etc.

For after-conference socialising, a News Cafe - restaurant and cocktail bar - is situated in the marble foyer of Joburg Theatre Complex. It too is equipped with plasma screens, couches and loungy music, and can accommodate 250 guests. The News Cafe boasts a glorious terrace that overlooks the theatre gardens.
