Overview

Chantel Crocker is the founder and managing director of Santana Graphix, a boutique design studio situated in Sunninghill, Sandton. Crocker finally took the leap of faith and officially opened the doors to Santana Graphix in February 2007, after she was unable to continue to manage the deluge of private work she was undertaking at night and over weekends.

With a solid background in design and fine arts, Crocker also exhibits a natural love for and understanding of people. This magically translates and affords her the ability to conceptualise and transfer to paper, the exacting needs of her exclusive clientele base.

Santana Graphix specialises in graphic design specific to below- and above-the-line campaigns and inclusive of the development of corporate identities, advertising, outdoor mediums, website design, printing, as well as custom-made, 3D, one-off invitations for any occasion.

Expounds Crocker, “I wear many hats on any given day. My core focus is design work, although I am also responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, which includes managing client relationships; traffic control of incoming and outgoing project work; supervision of printing jobs; deliveries; financial management and more. However, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love the control that owning my own business affords me. ”
