Overview

I am Dewan Demmer, a professional wedding photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I enjoy and love both traditional events and those events that tend to the creative or different. Truly it's about the people - especially those at the center of it all. The events bring people together to celebrate a memorable day, filled with smiles, laughter, tears and hugs. This is where I truly love to be, looking in with each photo and telling the story.

I would describe my approach as photo journalistic, allowing space to really capture those special memories, especially those little moments that slip in between all the others. I am an upbeat and vibrant photographer ready to go wherever you are, whether it's up a mountain or down the street, I would like to be there for you.
